Exhibition design for Project Rising: A series of posters that use design as a tool to be the catalyst for change. Created narrative structure and designed display systems for posters + t-shirts, showcasing work created by designers from across the globe. Displayed at The British council, New Delhi for the UNBOX Design Festival.
Project Rising The initiative by CoDesign, is about exploring the potential of visual communication to drive interventions for social impact. It aims to encourage design students and practitioners to initiate projects for change, with their skills in communication design. The belief is that visual communication can move people to think and act. And the idea is to use visual communication to make our homes, neighbourhoods and cities a little better.
Poster Display Reflecting the simple and raw language of the posters, the display system consisted of paper clips and wire, attempting to evoke the feel of posters hung in and around the neighbourhood wall and windows. Stacked cardboard boxes added another element to the space, aiding in moving away from flat wall surfaces.
