Threads of Change was a travelling exhibition showcasing the textile cultures of North-East India. Curated by the National Institute of Design, and showcased at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, the exhibition was a display of the rich and varied visual languages used in the fabrics of the tribes of the Himalayan regions of north-east India. Designed and fabricated exhibition display systems using bamboo – a traditional building material of the region- along with jute and metal. The exhibition travelled from Delhi to three other locations across Western and Eastern India.
